Myocardial infarction (MI) is a life-threatening coronary artery disease characterized by sudden cardiac death. It is therefore necessary to provide a complete view of the complications of myocardial infarction in addition to designing a preventive program against myocardial infarction. Central obesity, type 2 diabetes, and smoking are major risk factors for coronary artery obstruction and, consequently, myocardial infarction. This research aims to benefit from the results of the lipid profile in calculating some lipid ratios levels and sdLDL-C, which are considered indicators for assessing the risk of atherosclerosis. The corrilation between the calculated results and the level of fibrinogen )gamma chain(, a new inflammatory marker, activated protein C, and homocysteine, adds important information to predict cardiovascular diseases. When these tests are performed, and if it is proven that the value of lipid ratios levels and sdLDL are sufficient to make the decision to postpone catheterization, this will lead to reducing health care costs and bringing about a positive change in health care practices. And increasing awareness about the importance of early detection and encouraging proactive health behaviors in Syrian society. | Abstract |
