The lab is focused on familiarizing students with the analogue and digital and digital communication / telecommunication basics used in many applications today.
The Feedback® hardware equipment used in this lab runs hand in hand with software provided and installed on lab PCs. In addition, the lab contains all the facilities needed for the majority of the communication experiments to enable interested students to perform further tests when needed.
In each session, the students are walked through the experiment, step by step, using the interactive software tutorial. By following this approach, the students are taught the basic analysis and design experience they need in the real world to understand the techniques of many communication systems used today as well as being able to design them.
Contents of the Lab:
- 10 Pcs Feedback® test benches. Model No. 53-230, RAT 92-20
- 2 Pcs HAMEG® function generator.
- 2 Pcs HAMEG® DC power supply.
- 2 Pcs Promax® digital oscilloscope up to 60 MHz.
- 20 Pcs of personal computers, all equipped with the necessary hardware interfacing and major software utilities installed on them such as (MS Office, MATLAB, etc.).
