ABSTRACT :The purpose of this project is to design a vehicle that is able to encounter gravity forces that will lead it into an unbalanced state , this vehicle will be stable in all statues (standing still or in motion ) using an opposite force to encounter any tilting angle which is produced by the control momentum gyroscope. Angular momentum will be generated by a DC motor that rotates a disk in one speed. The second task in this project was to control the motion of the vehicle in many speeds by using a micro-controller to use the PWM technique and generate a binary signal for better speed control of the vehicle. A motor driver to control the direction of rotation of the movement motor to drive the vehicle forward or backward. Third task was to control the vehicle wirelessly, a Bluetooth circuit connected to micro- controller to change the speed and enable the vehicle to go forward and backward, and this done by using mobile application.

ABSTRACT:Branch-Line Microstrip Coupler is one of the fundamental components in RF/Microwave systems. It is a 4-Port device that divides and/or combiner power simultaneously. These features make the coupler extremely useful in various applications (GSM-Band), such as antenna feeding network, phase shifter, balance amplifier and mixer. In this project theoretical study was carried out on the characteristic of Microstrip Directional Couplers included, Isolation, Coupling, through and Directivity, which are important quantities for characterization of couplers. The AWR Program was used to establish the design of the Microstrip Coupler Circuit using element browser. Measurements S-Parameters of Microstrip Coupler Circuit were conducted and Spectrum Analyzer was used for this purpose. Although Spectrum Analyzer was used for measurements Transmission Coefficients, Coupling, Isolation, Directivity and Reflection Coefficients. Measurement errors due to tracking frequency response and mismatching in this conducted project were considered.

ABSTRACT:This project idea started with an educational concept. No one will argue that a laser scanner is state of the art, and more accurate. But this project aim was to learn how to use simple components as low cost sensors, using the components and devices available in the market, and to build the scanner at the lowest cost possible.
2D Scanner is a contact scanner, in which a probe touches the outer dimension of the scanned object, consequently measuring its external dimensions.
The basic idea was to fix the scanned object on a rotating platform, measuring the outer surface. Then rotating the platform one step, using a stepper motor, measuring the outer dimension again, and repeating this step until, the whole outer dimension is scanned. This phase, would finish the scanning process. And the collected data is stored in the scanner memory. But it will not enable a visual representation of the scanned object. Which is normally expected.
To visualize the scanned object, a computer was used to draw the outer perimeter of the scanned object. To achieve that, the stored data is transferred to the computer usingRS232 connection, then the computer has to calculate the errors due to the measurement process, then, the X and Y of each point. Finally, to draw and connect all the points.

ABSTRACT :Huge demand for new services in cellular systems led engineers and professionals to improve networks and magnetisms to achieve people needs and improve their work.
UMTS is one of the most important steps in cellular systems that motivate us to study its concepts and characteristic and try to simulate them by Matlab GUIs.
In our project we focus on the characteristics of the UMTS and the most important cosepts that differ from second generation of mobile system which is CDMA, HANDOVER and POWER CONTROLE

ABSTRACT : The purpose of this project is to simulate and design the circuits of an Instrument Landing System ILS “marker beacons”. This will give the ability to determine the position of a landing aircraft during Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC),such as reduced visibility due to fog, rain, or blowing snow to enable a safe landing to an aircraft approaching a runway. The position is given by three markers which are located on the ground with a specified distance before the threshold of the runway (according to application of the airport).
This project contains modulation, demodulation, power circuits, antenna, and a micro-controller for coding/decoding according to each marker.

ABSTRACT : The purpose of our project is to designed and implement a wireless optical transmitter and receiver system that established a data and audio communication, In addition, this project also proposed laser communication at certain angle which is a new solution or techniques to undertaken the characteristic of light that propagates in a straight line although the signal is very low or weak over long distance. The light communication system can work successfully within in distance up to 10 meters and sensitivity angle of the photodiode at receiver that view the laser light coming from the transmitter so this project have three topics to be implemented “data which is digital signal, voice which is analog signals, alignment angle and acceptance angle” .
The project has a lot of application may be developed such as military apps and civil apps which use the free space and direct light to be spared.
This project is successfully improved the transmission distance and signal coverage area effectively with low cost of hardware.

ABSTRACT: The purpose of this project is to develop and implement an application that simulates an FM System using C# Programming Language. The application works as a visual aid, and gives the ability to generate three types of input signals with ability to control their parameters (Frequency and Amplitude). The application can also generate a carrier signal ranged at the FM standard band of frequencies (88 to 108 MHz). The main task of the application arises when frequency modulate the carrier signal with respect to the message signal which is already generated (three types). Then, the modulated signal is transmitted over a channel and affected by channel noise–where the user can vary its parameters-.Detecting and recovering the message signal at the receiver end is also a possible process in the application. All the generated signals and the modifications applied to them are displayed on dedicated windows.

ABSTRACT :Phase shifters are four-port microwave devices which take an input signal and output in phase and shifted phase version of the original signal. These devices can be used in phased antenna arrays, balanced mixer, and Amplifier. The goal of this work is to construct a hybrid coupler phase shifter which will provide a 90 degree phase shift to a signal with a center frequency of 2 GHz over a 200 MHz bandwidth.
What made this project exceptional is the hybrid coupler phase shifter has not been extensively studied. Some papers have provided rough guidelines for constructing these shifters, but there is little exploration of performance.
This work uses AWR as a simulation tool to provide design analysis, and experimental work was performed in the RF laboratory at the Arab International University “AIU
