The Faculty of Informatics & Communication at Arab International University recruits its form differnt sources:
Holder of Syrian Secondary School Certificate (Baccalaureate)
Student Holder of non Syrian Baccalaueate, but equivalent according to rules fixed by Ministry of Higher Education, can also join the faculty. In this case, candidates should have the minimum level of grades fixed by the Ministry of Higher Education for each type of certificate (60% for Syrian Scientific Baccalaureate).
The faculty has the right to raise the required acceptance level, or to ask for additional requirements, as enrolling some students into remedial courses, or to select students on differentiation base according to the admission policy of the university.
Graduated of Technical Institutes
Students Graduated from some technical institutes, certified by the Ministry of Higher Education, can joint the faculty under conditions of satisfying certain acceptance criteria fixed by the Ministry. In this case, student could be exempted from a limited number of credit hours (or courses) according to equivalence norms and rules adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education.
Students from other Universities
The faculty accept students studying in other universities and wishing to transfer their studies to our faculty, according to transfer rules adopted by the Ministry of Higher Education. In this case also, student could be exempted from a limited number of credit hours (or courses) upon to equivalence norms and rules.
